Home Page    3,4-Dimethylpyrazole Phosphate (DMPP)

CAS No.: 202842-98-6

Molecular Formula: CHN·HOP

DMPP is a globally advanced, highly efficient, safe, non-toxic nitrification inhibitor, also known for being environmentally friendly and cost-effective. It can extend the fertilizer efficiency period of ammonium nitrogen from 25 days to over 50 days and increase utilization rate from 30% to over 40%.

DMPP possesses the following characteristics:

    1.  Non-toxic to plants.

    2.  Completely decomposes in soil, with final products being phosphate, water, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen oxides.

    3.  No residue in harvested agricultural products.

    4.  Poses no risk to soil, microorganisms, water bodies, humans, or livestock.

    5.  No leaching phenomenon in soil.

    6.  Non-irritating to human skin and eyes.

    7.  Low dosage required; achieves the same effect at 1/15 the dose of dicyandiamide.

General-purpose DMPP Powder

◎ Active Ingredient: ≥97% technical material

Customized DMPP Powder

◎ Active Ingredient: 10%-90% DMPP + functional auxiliaries, protectants, etc.

Compound Nitrification Inhibitor: DMPP and other multi-component nitrification inhibitors.

Efficacy: DMPP inhibits the activity of nitrifying bacteria in soil, delaying the conversion of ammonium nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen. It helps increase the adsorption capacity of ammonium nitrogen in soil, prolongs the retention time of effective nitrogen, extends the fertilizer efficiency period, and improves nitrogen fertilizer utilization.

Application Scope: Limited mixing with fertilizers containing ammonium nitrogen or amide nitrogen for producing stabilized nitrogen fertilizers, stabilized compound fertilizers, water-soluble fertilizers, etc.

Dosage: DMPP (pure equivalent) is added at 0.5%-1.0% of the total ammonium nitrogen and amide nitrogen content in the fertilizer.
